No One, is my attempt to deal with the words "No One loves you" or similar cruel and heartless baggage other people give you for no reason, he is the person who fills in the space of "no person" when people try to make you feel like garbage or something similar. he is who your brain is supposed to picture when you think to yourself "no on
No One, is my attempt to deal with the words "No One loves you" or similar cruel and heartless baggage other people give you for no reason, he is the person who fills in the space of "no person" when people try to make you feel like garbage or something similar. he is who your brain is supposed to picture when you think to yourself "no one will help me".
look to the panel labeled "Nobody loves you", this is the first poem I wrote with him in mind. I was testing the waters on whether this concept could work. it doesn't QUITE match the mood I'm going for, but it does illustrate what I mean.
read the poem and imagine a person when you read the word "Nobody":

and if you let him, your body is his to know too.
so, won't you bring him back to your pad?

upon your very person, his full love is clad.
so instead of shame, be proud, that Nobody loves you!

The poem doesn't have the exact effect i wanted, but i had a good laugh and felt absurdly proud over how well it DID work. I was able to imagine a person when i read the poem out loud and even blushed a little over the concept of "Nobody" getting to know my body, lol.

my depression likes to lie to me. i can have support, people around me, etc etc, and somehow, i'll still be sitting there thinking to myself "Nobody cares about me".
well, it happened one day. My partner left the room for a moment, perhaps half an hour to an hour the most, dinner needed making and children needed feeding. then, bad memories swamped my head, i couldn't concentrate, and all i could do was cry. during all those bad memories i thought to myself "Nobody loves me" in the worst feeling possible, then a playful voice in my head said "but Nobody DOES love you, remember?" and, i thought of my character. to my surprise, the crushing weight of lies was lifted off my chest and shoulders and i felt better. to add to that, i hadn't mentioned yet, but i had "preimagined" him saying who else loves me for those moments, like my family and partner for example, and it WORKED! not only was i reminded that "No One" existed in my time of need, but that he even popped up in my head to remind me of who loves me in my life. DOUBLE WHAMMY!
i feel pretty good over the result. it needs work, but this test was really motivating. It allowed me the confidence to keep working on No One. If i do this right, His game should be really motivating and healing :)

Nu Wen is mostly Albino with some blue pigment in his eyes, effectively making them purple as the blue blends in with the red of his eyes.
His hair is white, which shines prismatically in the light, and looks a kind of eggshell in the shadow.
he is technically neither male nor female with a strong male pronoun preference.

as someone who is pre-human with BOTH bits (with one of them being retractable), he could technically sex either sex, if he so chose, easily.
If you were to look at him, he would to your eyes, look female. further explanation can be done later as i make new pages for him, but he would in all essences and appearances look like a young woman, at most some masculine features to add to his androgeny.
note: I've been considering removing his "albino" status and giving him some other skin type. something with more spots and splotches would be pretty unique :), like Vitoligo or something. we shall see.

then, I looked up "zero" and sought what could be found.

exists in computers to better understand, and make use of, bahavioral operations, where just "0" doesn't always help.
(like if you need 0's affects in math, but need the function in code to be different)
a common way to find out which "0" you have in a function, is to divide by "1",
"-0" will result in infinite "-1"s whereas the opposite is apparently true with "0+" resulting in infinite "1"s.

what the number 0 taught me:
-How you choose to explain him, changes his "sign" (-/+).
-Nu Wen doesn't exist,
he represents the existence of no one and no person, but he also represents the potential for everyone, any person, and anyone at all.
-Nu Wen is neither "positive" nor "negative", he is Nu Wen, and doesn't concern himself with whether he is "better" or "worse" than himself or others.
-instead, he looks at his own behavior and compares with how it affects others, this is how he knows whether he is "positive" or "negative".
